City of Pontiac issued the following announcement on April 4.
In order to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus we have decided to cancel this years Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor Festival May 2, 2020.
We would like to thank our sponsors and participants for their continued support.
Stay healthy friends, practice personal distancing and let’s stay in touch through social media.
If you live in close proximity to any of the 13 communities included in the festival, please patronize these businesses, museums and other iconic locations once the stay at home order is lifted.
