One McLean County resident in his or her seventies tested positive for COVID-19 on June 28, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 29 positive cases reported in McLean County among residents in their seventies, accounting for 11.3 percent of all cases in the county. Through June 28, McLean County has reported a total of 257 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 13 of which have ended with the victim's death.
