McLean County Board met July 21.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

NOTE CHANGE: To promote health and safety, we encourage individuals or groups to email public comment statements to County Administration at admin@mcleancountyil.gov by Monday July 20, 2020 at 5:30 pm. Statements received by the deadline will be read aloud as part of the record, pursuant to the time parameters in McLean County Board Rules (five minutes for individuals or group spoke person). The entirety of the statement will be placed in the official minutes, even if the statement reads longer than the time limit allows.

If you choose to provide comment in person, requests must be received by County Administration pursuant to timelines in the McLean County Board Rules (24 hours in advance for an item on the agenda and 2 business days in advance of the meeting for items not on the agenda). Please also note that we will adhere to the Phase 4 direction by the Governor which limits the number of individuals that can gather in the County Board Room. In-person attendance will be on a first come basis. Recommended social distancing protocols will be adhered to at all meetings.

The south Front Street doors of the McLean County Government Center will be open 30 minutes prior to the meeting to allow the general public access to Room 400. The general public will be asked to leave, and the building will be closed, immediately following adjournment of the meeting. Finally, the public will be able to view the meeting, live, on Facebook and YouTube. Links can be found at https://www.mcleancountyil.gov/.

This is a request to amend special use case SU-12-03 to allow the expansion of a rural home-based off-premise trucking business in the Agriculture District on property in Downs Township at 23741 E 200 North Rd., LeRoy, IL.

b) Approve the request of the Carlock Christian Church in case ZA-20-04 on parcel 06-31-400-007. This is a request for a map amendment to change the zoning classification from R-1 Single Family Residence District to A- Agriculture District on property in White Oak Township immediately east of the property located at 6549 E 2050 North Rd., Carlock, IL. 26-29

c) Approve the request of Breezewood Solar, LLC by Cypress Creek, in case SU-20-06 on parcel 21-21-176-002. This is a request to amend and renew special use case SU-18-10 for a Solar Power Generating Facility in the Agriculture District on property in Bloomington Township immediately southwest of the intersection of Margaret Street and the Business U.S. Highway 51 Frontage Rd.

d) Approve the request of John Wern in case SU-20-04 on parcel 25-23-400- 005. This is a request for a special use to allow a Cannabis Craft Grower Facility in the Agriculture District on property in Cheneys Grove Township at 40756 E 1000 North Rd., Saybrook, IL.

2) Subdivision Cases:

a) Approve the request of James Rafferty in case S-20-08 on parcel 30-35-26-004. He is requesting a waiver of preliminary plan requirements and approval of a one-lot subdivision final plat for the Kyle Rafferty Subdivision located in Empire Township immediately northeast of US Route 150 approximately 1⁄2 mile southeast of 350 North Rd.
