The 2020 payable in 2021 real estate taxes are being accepted by the Livingston County Treasurer’s Office in pre-payments, according to a press release from Livingston County.
"Pre-payments are accepted from Dec.1, 2020 through April 30, 2021. Tax payers may pre-pay up to 70% of last year’s tax amount," the county wrote in the press release. "Please include the below pre-payment tax form with your payment."
Pre-payments should be mailed to the Treasurer's Office at P.O. Box 50, Pontiac, Illinois, 61764.
They can also be dropped off at the Treasurer's Office walk-up window or at two drop box locations. On drop box is outside the Historic Courthouse on the south side at the top of the stairs. The other drop box is on the west side of the Historic Courthouse next to the outdoor elevator.
