City of Leroy issued the following announcement on Mar. 27.
The Easter Bunny is coming to town, and we need to welcome him in grand style. So, the mayor thinks we need a PARADE! And he wants YOU to be part of it.
Decorate your bike. Decorate a wagon. Put bunny ears on your dog. Organize a kazoo band. Organize a drill team. Whatever you think would be fun is what you should do!
EASTER BONNETS! We need Easter bonnets!
Buy one, make one, find one.....and come join the parade. Walk if you choose or drive if you’d rather.
So come help us welcome the Easter Bunny to LeRoy. We’ll want lots of spectators, but we’ll want lots of participants, too. And that means YOU. Text the Mayor at 309-660-3866, send him a FB message, or reply on the facebook post to let him know you’ll be joining the parade lineup.
Line up is on Pine Street by the Junior High beginning at 11:30. And we’ll be looking for YOU.
