Report: LeRoy School District spent $11,289 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at LeRoy Community Unit School District 2 was up 8.5 percent from five years ago, according to the McLean County Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Mclean County school district spent $10,402 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,289 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 799 to 782 students over the same period.

LeRoy's spending in 2019-20 was 22.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
