Report: Dwight Common School District spent $9,107 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Dwight Common School District 232 was up 7.1 percent from five years ago, according to the McLean County Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Livingston County school district spent $8,501 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,107 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 557 to 527 students over the same period.

Dwight Common's spending in 2019-20 was 37.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
