Pontiac median home prices rose by 18.7% in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Pontiac rose by $14,500 while total sales increased by 10.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $92,000 - a 18.7% increase over the $77,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Pontiac in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Pontiac for 2018 was $2,203. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,186. This marks an increase of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
