First half of 2022: Chenoa experienced a 24.1% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Chenoa fell by $27,000 while total sales decreased by 35.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,000 - a 24.1 percent decrease from the $112,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Chenoa in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Chenoa for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,058, approximately 2.4 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
