The Board of Education of Rooks Creek C.C.S.D. #425 held a regular board meeting on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the school. School Board Vice President Elizabeth Alvey called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Roll call: Elizabeth Alvey, present; Scott Drilling, present, John Grampp, present; Kristen Hinz, absent; Steve Mattingly, absent; Abby Rinker, present; Kassandra Ryerson, present.
Angela Baldwin, Jill Bressner, Brianna Grieff, Sean Hillary, Abby Mays, Jodi Minnaert and Superintendent Todd Bean were also present.
A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Abby Rinker to approve the agenda. Voice vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to approve the September minutes. Voice vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve the September Treasurer’s report. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve the October payment of bills as presented. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2absent. Motion carried.
Old Business:
A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Abby Rinker to approve the Blackboard Website as presented. Roll call vote. All ayes, 2 absent. Motion carried.
New Business:
A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Scott Drilling to approve the School Project Maintenance Grant as presented. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Scott Drilling to increase the breakfast fee to $1.50, lunch fee to $2.75, milk fee to $.35 and registration fee to $50.00 for the 2023-2024 school year. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
