Odell Community Consolidated School District 435 Board met Nov. 9.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
Board Vice-President Megan Henson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
PRESENT: Megan Henson, Chad Gragert Kate Noles, Randy Pagel, Ryan Biernat. Kim Verdun arrived at 6:04 p.m.
ABSENT: Emily Gall
Also in attendance: Mark Hettmansberger, Superintendent; Sue Francis, Secretary
NOTICES, COMMUNICATIONS OR RECOGNITIONS
Janelle Aldrich and Kristin Steidinger attended the meeting.
There were no FOIA requests.
CONSENT AGENDA

Motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Randy Pagel and second by Kate Noles.
Action: Passed.
APPROVAL OF OCTOBER BILLS AND PAYROLL
Motion to approve the October bills and payroll was made by Kate Noles and second by Chad Gragert. Roll call, yeas- Megan Henson, Chad Gragert, Kate Noles, Randy Pagel, and Ryan Biernat. Action: Passed.
BUSINESS
Motion to approve the employment of Sara Laughlin as an aide was made by Kate Noles and second by Ryan Biernat. Roll call, yeas—Megan Henson, Chad Gragert, Kate Noles, Randy Pagel, Ryan Biernat, and Kim Verdun. Action: Passed.
ANNOUNCEMENT AND DISCUSSION
1) Supt. Hettmansberger presented information on the Tax Levy to the Board.
2) Supt. Hettmansberger informed the Board of the upcoming school board election that will be held on April 4, 2023. There are four full term board member openings. Information and election packets are available at the County Clerk’s office.
3) Supt. Hettmansberger discussed with the Board on the Board Convention.
4) Supt. Hettmansberger updated the Board on the new bus.
5) Supt. Hettmansberger presented to the Board on the progress with Vezzetti Investments.
APPROVAL OF MOTION TO ADJOURN
Motion to adjourn was made by Randy Pagel and second by Kate Noles. Voice Vote, Action:
