Rooks Creek Community Consolidated School District 425 Board of Education met Dec. 12.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education of Rooks Creek C.C.S.D. #425 held a regular board meeting on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the school. School Board President Kristen Hinz called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. Roll call:

Elizabeth Alvey, present; Scott Drilling, present, John Grampp, present; Kristen Hinz, present; Steve Mattingly, present; Abby Rinker, present; Kassandra Ryerson, present.

Superintendent Todd Bean was also present.

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve the agenda. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Kristen Hinz to approve the November minutes. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Steve Mattingly to approve the November Treasurer’s report.

Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve the December payment of bills excluding the Country Insurance payment. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

Old Business:

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve EMC/Encova under Unland Insurance and Benefits. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to join Pontiac St. Mary’s Athletic Co-Op for FY 24 and FY 25. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to adjourn and 7:55 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes.

Motion carried.
