On Tuesday, February 27, former Mt. Olive High School standout Carter Monke’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I game against the Northwestern Wildcats.

The game took place in Evanston, Illinois. This was their first matchup against the Northwestern Wildcats this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 2 p.m. in Pine Bluff, Arkansas against Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions.
