IDOT announces I-57 road construction in Iroquois County

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has announced the commencement of road construction on I-57 through Gilman and Onarga. According to the press release, the project is set to begin immediately and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

Travelers who frequent this route are advised to anticipate delays and allocate additional time for their journeys due to the ongoing construction work.
