Britney Maldonado of Illinois Wesleyan University has been named the NCAA Statistical Champion for assists per game, capping an impressive senior season. Maldonado's average of 4.53 assists per game led Division III and ranked second across all NCAA divisions.

The accolade concludes a remarkable season for Maldonado, who also achieved First Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) honors. She broke multiple program records, including single-season assists per game, points (124), points per game (7.29), and assists (77). Her 77 assists tied the season record with Julia Kelley from Roger Williams University.

Maldonado, a five-time CCIW Offensive Player of the Week, concluded her career ranked third in points with 229 and set the program's best point-per-game mark at 3.75. Her 124 career assists rank second all-time at Illinois Wesleyan University, while her career average of 2.03 assists per game is the highest in program history.
