Illinois State men's tennis concluded the second day of the 67th ITA Collegiate in San Diego, California, with a doubles win. Adrian Dibildox and Tin Ostro defeated San Diego's Lee and Freedman with a score of 6-2.
In singles play, Tomas Valencia faced Rozin from Arizona but lost in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0. Valencia participated in both the main draw competition and the qualifier pool during this weekend's tournament.
Tom Bevan and Jett Leong also competed in doubles but were defeated by Chosseau and Josserand from San Diego State with a score of 6-0.
The tournament will continue on its third day at 9 am.
"Rozin (UOA) def. Valencia (ISU) 6-3, 6-0," noted one match result from the main draw singles competition.
In doubles quarterfinals: "Chosseau/Josserand (SDSU) def. Bevan/Leong (ISU) 6-0," while "Dibildox/Ostro (ISU) def. Lee/Freedman (USD)" was another highlighted result.
