College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District team, highlighting two Illinois State baseball players. Senior Judah Morris and junior Daniel Pacella were recognized for their achievements both on the field and in academics.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, honor student-athletes for their combined performances in sports and academics. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes honorees across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Academic All-District honorees will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees are set to be announced on July 1.

To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and meet specific playing time requirements as either starters or key reserves. Each school can nominate up to five athletes.

Judah Morris, from Mather, California, has been a consistent presence at first base for the Redbirds this season. He achieved a batting average of .298/.667/.466 with 16 doubles, 19 home runs, 50 RBIs, and scored 56 times. Previously named Second Team All-Conference this season, Morris was also part of the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team in 2024.

Daniel Pacella from Mundelein, Illinois played left field throughout the season and earned a spot on the All-MVC First Team. His performance included a batting average of .355/.714/.429 with 19 doubles, two triples, 20 home runs, 59 RBIs, and he scored 58 runs. Last year he was named to the Scholar-Athlete first team.
