The Illinois State women's tennis team concluded the Redbird Invite with a series of strong performances, highlighted by Elena Jankulovska's victories in both the No. 6 singles and doubles championships alongside Nuria Sanz. Silvia Pomarolli and Emma Lindh also reached the championship brackets at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Nicole Iosio added to the team's success by defeating UIC's Brion in a three-set match with scores of 5-7, 6-4, and 10-8.
In doubles play, Illinois State secured three wins. Pomarolli and Iosio triumphed over Tseng and Pukhina of Bradley with an 8-2 scoreline. Sanz and Jankulovska followed up with an 8-4 victory against Bradley’s Badman/Befogliadova. Zoe Limparis and Sophia Marie Lowe completed the sweep by overcoming Larrieu and Lomenzo of Eastern Illinois, also by an 8-4 margin.
Head coach Maja Kovacek expressed satisfaction with her team's performance: "We played our best tennis on the last day of the tournament, which is encouraging. We got a lot of matches in and are learning a lot and growing as doubles teams," Kovacek said. "I'm really looking forward to the MVC Individual championship next weekend."

No. 1 Konieva (UWM) defeated Caculovic (ISU) 2-6, 6-2, 10-8.
No. 2 Lalonde (Valpo) defeated Pomarolli (ISU) 1-6, 6-2, 10-8.
No. 3 Nikolajeva (UWM) defeated Lindh (ISU) 6-0, 6-2.
No. 4 Iosio (ISU) defeated Brion (UIC) 5-7, 6-4, 10-8.
No. 5 Sanz (ISU) defeated Bjornestad (UST) 6-2, 6-0.
No. 6 Jankulovska (ISU) defeated Rodriguez (UIC) 7-6 (3), 1–6, 10–4.
Doubles results included:
No.1 Silva/Lalonde (Valpo) defeated Caculovic/Lindh (ISU), score: 4–8.
No .2 Pomarolli/Iosio (ISU), score: defeated Tseng/Pukhina (BU), score: 8–2.

No .4 Limparis/Lowe (ISU), score: defeated Larrieu/Lomenzo(EIU), score: 8–4.
