Illinois Wesleyan University softball shortstop Jen Kuhn has been recognized with the 2025 Rawlings Gold Glove Award, as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on May 29. This accolade marks Kuhn as the third Titan in program history to receive this honor, following Ava Khoury and Casey Wissmiller who were awarded last season.

Kuhn's defensive prowess earned her the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Defensive Player of the Year title. As Illinois Wesleyan's consistent shortstop, she maintained a .983 fielding percentage with only three errors throughout the year. Her performance included 65 putouts, 108 assists, and participation in seven double plays, contributing to IWU's team fielding percentage of .973.

The selection process for the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards involved regional representatives from the NFCA's NCAA Division III All-America Committee. The evaluation was based on fielding statistics and video submissions from schools.

Eligibility for this award required student-athletes to have competed in the current championship year and be nominated by their head coach, who must be an NFCA member in good standing.

Rawlings, established in 1887 and headquartered in St. Louis, is known for its premium baseball and softball equipment. It serves as the official provider for several major sports organizations including Major League Baseball.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association supports fastpitch softball coaches through various initiatives such as polls, awards, educational events, and conventions.
