Illinois Wesleyan University Athletics has announced a collaboration with WePlayed Sports to enhance the availability of short-form video content. This partnership aims to provide fans, followers, student-athletes, and partners with accessible videos through social media, iwusports.com, and other platforms.

WePlayed Sports offers an AI-driven video platform for college and professional sports. The technology converts full-length game films into concise videos suitable for distribution.

"We are so excited about our new partnership with WePlayed," stated Athletic Director Mike Wagner. "It is a great opportunity to showcase the development of our broadcasts and the many accomplishments of our student-athletes. We look forward to seeing WePlayed grow and expand into more sports in the future."

The initiative allows users to customize their viewing experience by focusing on specific athletes, seasons, games, or play types. The AI toolkit also creates playlists such as best moments, ultimate reels, and game digests.

Currently, the service is available for men's and women's basketball, football, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball teams. Links will be accessible on each athlete's bio page as well as on the athletic department's homepage (iwusports.com), enhancing dynamic content accessibility.

To explore this new feature within IWU athletics, visit a student-athlete's bio page and click on the "WePlayed Moments" tab. Presently, only current season competitions are available with plans to upload previous years' contests throughout the year.
