The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team, ranked sixth nationally, is set to conclude its fall season at the NCAA Division III Preview in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will take place from October 29 to 31 at Boulder Creek Country Club. This tournament provides an opportunity for the Titans to play on the course that will host the 2024 NCAA Division III Championship.
Illinois Wesleyan is among nine nationally ranked teams participating in this event. The competition includes top-ranked Emory, second-ranked Methodist, and other notable teams such as Wittenberg, UT-Dallas, St. John's, Washington & Lee, Sewanee, Babson, and Piedmont. Additional participants include Willamette, California Lutheran, Alvernia, Carnegie Mellon, Redlands, Pomona-Pitzer, Hampden Sydney, and Schreiner.
Representing Illinois Wesleyan are fifth-year player Bobby Beaubien from Barrington; juniors Quinn Clifford from Chicago and Griffin Pohl from Western Springs; along with sophomores Juney Bai from Mokena and Jackson Hulsey from St. Charles.
The tournament consists of 54 holes starting on Sunday. Live scoring will be available through Golfstat and a select hole will be streamed daily by the College Golf Network. Access to live results and streaming can be found on the men's golf schedule page of iwusports.com.
