The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team faced a challenging match against Emory University, ranked 24th nationally, on Friday, September 15. The game concluded with a 5-0 defeat for the Titans.

Emory dominated possession early in the match, with Kaitlyn Nimmer scoring in the third minute. Despite efforts from Illinois Wesleyan's junior goalkeeper Kayla Borg, who made six saves in the first half, Emory managed to score again in the 30th minute and added another goal before halftime.

In the second half, Emory continued their strong performance by scoring two more goals. Borg ended the match with a total of 14 saves.

Following this match, the Titans are scheduled to play against Sewanee: The College of the South on Sunday, September 17 at 1 p.m. in Sewanee, Tennessee.
