Sophomore Sawyer White from Illinois Wesleyan University's women's soccer team has been named to the All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Second Team. This marks the second time in her career that White has received this honor, as announced by the league office on Friday, October 27.

White, who is from Downers Grove, Illinois, and attended Montini Catholic, returned for her sophomore year after being named the 2022 CCIW Newcomer of the Year. She has played a significant role for the Titans as both a midfielder and a team captain. During Illinois Wesleyan's match against Elmhurst on October 18, she scored her first two career goals. Known for her skills in dead ball and corner services, White has also contributed one assist in conference play and three assists overall this season.

Additionally, junior transfer Madalyn Buxton from Springfield, Illinois, who attended Pleasant Plains, was recognized as IWU's CCIW RESPECT award winner.

The Green and White will travel to Waukesha, Wisconsin for a CCIW Quarterfinal match against Carroll University. The game is scheduled to take place at Schneider Stadium at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 28.
