The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team was defeated by Carroll University in the quarterfinals of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament on Saturday, October 28. The final score was 3-0.
Illinois Wesleyan ended the season with a record of 3-13-2 overall and 2-5-1 in conference play, while Carroll improved to a 10-5-3 overall record and 4-1-3 in conference. During the match, the Titans were outshot by Carroll, trailing 20 to 4 in shots and failing to secure any corner kick opportunities compared to Carroll's five. Freshman goalkeeper Adriana Ruffolo made seven saves for Illinois Wesleyan, whereas Carroll's goalkeeper had two saves.
