The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team is preparing to host North Central College for their final regular season match. The game will take place on Saturday, October 21, at Neis Field with a kickoff time of 12 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan recently secured a victory against Elmhurst University on October 18, which extended their unbeaten streak to three games. This win improved their record to 3-11-2 overall and 2-4-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). Key players in this match included Sawyer White from Downers Grove, who scored her first two career goals, Alexis Shackelfod from Orland Park with her first career assist, and Adriana Ruffolo from Bloomingdale who achieved her second consecutive shutout.

White is currently leading the team's offense with two goals and three assists. Freshman Ava Mapes from Golden follows closely with two goals and an assist. In total, six Titans have contributed goals this season.

North Central College leads the CCIW standings with an undefeated conference record of 6-0 and an overall record of 14-2. They are ranked 24th in the United Soccer Coaches national rankings following a recent victory over Millikin University on October 18.

Historically, Illinois Wesleyan has dominated their series against North Central since it began in 1994, holding a record of 27 wins, four losses, and one draw. The Titans enjoyed a significant winning streak against the Cardinals from 1999 to 2021. Their last encounter was during the CCIW Tournament Championship on November 5, 2022, where Illinois Wesleyan emerged victorious with a score of 4-1.
