The second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf National Championship faced suspension due to darkness on Wednesday, May 22. The event, held in Nicholasville, Kentucky, saw the Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team among the 23 teams competing. The day was marked by two interruptions and delays caused by lightning before play was halted at approximately 7:45 p.m. ET.

The tournament is set to narrow down to 15 teams once a full 36 holes are completed. Additionally, the top six individuals not part of qualifying teams will also advance.

Play is expected to resume at 7 a.m. Updates and live results are available on Golfstat through links provided on the women's golf schedule page of iwusports.com.
