The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team claimed victory at the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling, marking their third tournament win of the season. The event took place on Saturday, April 20, at the Riverside Golf Course in Janesville, Wisconsin. The Titans finished with a 36-hole total of 628, leading by a significant 16-stroke margin.

Five players from Illinois Wesleyan placed within the top five individually. Junior Macy Ludwig tied for second with a score of 155 (75-80), while senior Emma Thorman tied for fifth at 157 (79-78). Senior Lexi Onsrud and junior Jacque O'Neill shared seventh place with scores of 159 each. O'Neill matched IWU's best round of the weekend with a three-over-par 75.

Freshman Emily Gastrau, playing on the Titan 'B' team, delivered an impressive performance to secure ninth place. She recorded a final round score of 77, which was the second-lowest round by any Titan during the week.

Illinois Wesleyan dominated the tournament with their total score of 628. Aurora came in second with a score of 644, followed by UW-Stout in third at 647. Dubuque narrowly beat out IWU's 'B' team for fourth place with a score of 658, while Illinois Wesleyan's second squad finished fifth at 660. The host team UW-Whitewater ended up sixth with a score of 674.

This tournament concluded the regular season for Illinois Wesleyan as they prepare to compete in the NCAA Division III National Championship scheduled from May 21 to May 24 at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
