The Illinois State women's tennis team faced challenges on the third day of the ITA Midwest Regionals held at Ohio State. In singles matches, Silvia Pomarolli was defeated by Fliegner from the University of Michigan with scores of 6-2 and 7-6. Lana Caculovic also faced a loss in her consolation match against Dani Schoenly from Ohio State, ending with a scoreline of 6-2, 6-2.
In doubles competition, Pomarolli and Caculovic were unable to overcome Marquette University's Tiera Jarmond and Andie Weise, losing by an 8-4 margin.
