The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team is set to face North Central College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match. The game will take place on Wednesday, October 16, at Gregory Arena with the first serve scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Titans have been performing strongly this season, holding a record of 14-5 overall and an undefeated 5-0 in conference play. They are currently on a seven-game winning streak and aim to maintain their unblemished record in October. Recently, they secured two non-conference victories against Wartburg College and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

In the match against Wartburg, junior Taylor French achieved her 1000th career dig, becoming the eighth player in program history to reach this milestone for both kills and digs. She contributed significantly with 32 kills over eight sets during the Elmhurst Invitational. Her teammates, juniors Kannyn Boyd and Hannah Tellor, also delivered strong performances with 38 digs and nine blocks respectively.

French leads the team's offense with 290 kills, averaging 4.20 per set, ranking her 19th in Division III. Tellor follows with 148 kills and a .371 attack percentage that leads the CCIW. Freshman Alex Bardouniotis completes the top three hitters with 137 kills.

Sophomore Sophia Feeney leads in assists for the Titans with a total of 317 for the season, while senior Abby Erdman holds second place with 258 assists.

Defensively, Boyd has recorded 270 digs this season. French ranks second with 207 digs, followed by Bardouniotis with 116 digs. Sophomore Eleanor Palmer has registered a team-high of 53 total blocks.

This upcoming match marks the 39th meeting between Illinois Wesleyan and North Central since their series began in 1994. IWU holds a historical advantage with a record of 24-14 against North Central. In their last encounter on October 3, 2023, IWU won in four sets.

North Central College recently defeated Kalamazoo College in straight sets on October 11. A live stream of the upcoming match will be available online along with live statistics.
