The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team is preparing for an away game against Lake Forest College on Wednesday, September 25. The match will take place at 4 p.m. on Mohr Field in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Illinois Wesleyan has started the 2024 season with a record of 5-0-1, marking their best start since the 2012 season when they began with six consecutive wins. In their most recent game, the Titans secured a 1-0 victory over Knox College. Sophomore Ryder Coleman scored the decisive goal with assistance from sophomore Faheem Mujahid in the final ten minutes of the match.

Lake Forest College currently holds a record of 1-5-2 this season. Their latest match ended in a 1-1 draw against Dominican University. The Foresters last won against Wisconsin Lutheran in mid-September with a score of 1-0.

Historically, Lake Forest leads the head-to-head record against Illinois Wesleyan with two wins and no losses. The teams last faced each other on September 16, 2023, when Lake Forest defeated Illinois Wesleyan 2-0.
