The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team is preparing for its second away game of the season against Eureka College. The match will take place on Wednesday, September 4 at 7 p.m. on Traister Field.

The Titans enter the game with a record of 0-0-1, while the Red Devils have a 1-1 record following a 2-1 victory over Beloit and a 3-0 loss to Benedictine.

In their season opener at Kalamazoo College last Friday, August 30, the Titans faced an early deficit but managed to secure a draw. Junior Kalabi Kamau scored in the final ten minutes to equalize the game at 1-1. Junior goalkeeper Sam Kedzior made two saves during his time in goal.

This upcoming match marks the first encounter between the Red Devils and the Titans. Notably, Austin Woodside, who played for Illinois Wesleyan from 2018 to 2021, is now serving as an assistant coach for Eureka.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., and live statistics will be available online.
