For the second consecutive week, Illinois Wesleyan University's senior cross country runner has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Runner of the Week. The announcement was made by the league office on Tuesday, September 24.

The recognition follows her performance at Wheaton College's Gil Dodds Invitational held on Saturday, September 21. During the race, she secured a fourth-place finish with a time of 22:29.30, marking the highest placement by any CCIW runner in the event.

The invitational included participation from 19 scoring teams, featuring six out of nine CCIW institutions and over 220 runners. Her contribution was pivotal in leading Illinois Wesleyan University to achieve a fourth-place team finish with a total of 135 points.

The team is scheduled for a short hiatus before participating in the DIII Pre-Nationals meet in Terre Haute, Indiana on Friday, October 4.
