Despite facing weather challenges, the Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams achieved notable success at the NCAA Division III Championships in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The teams secured three All-American honors through the performances of Evan Lowder, Imani Ogunribido, and Carlyssa King.

Carlyssa King made her debut in the women's hammer throw event. Her best effort was a 49.88-meter toss, earning her 16th place and Second Team All-American recognition.

The women's triple jump event faced delays due to lightning but eventually commenced at 8 p.m. Imani Ogunribido excelled with a personal-best jump of 12.36 meters, securing sixth place and First Team All-American status as the only freshman on the podium.

Evan Lowder improved his position from the preliminary rounds in the men's 400-meter finals, finishing fourth with a time of 47.25 seconds and receiving First Team All-American honors.

The Illinois Wesleyan women's team concluded the meet in 68th place with three points, while the men's team tied for 42nd place with five points. As they conclude their season in Myrtle Beach, all three national qualifiers are expected to return for the next season.
