The Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team is set to face Augustana College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) match on Wednesday, March 6. The game will take place at the Roy J. Carver Center, with the first serve scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Titans, holding a record of 10-7 overall and 1-1 in CCIW play, are coming off victories against North Park University and Bethany College. Junior Ryan Myers led the team with 17 kills against North Park University, while sophomore Hayden Warfield achieved a career-high of 12 kills in the match against Bethany.

Senior Michael Eastman is leading Illinois Wesleyan with 171 kills this season, averaging 3.29 kills per set, placing him at 49th nationally. Freshman Bryce Williams follows with 122 kills, and junior Jake Kougan has contributed with 90.

Junior Vince DiCosola is nearing a significant milestone as he approaches his 1000th career assist. He currently leads the team with 259 assists this season. Freshman Brenden Reutter is second on the team with 223 assists.

Defensively, sophomore Jace Milka has recorded a team-high of 157 digs. His average of 2.71 digs per set ranks him at number two in the CCIW and number thirty-four nationally. Eastman follows Milka with ninety digs.

This upcoming match marks the seventh meeting between Illinois Wesleyan and Augustana College. Augustana holds a series lead of four wins to two but lost to IWU in their last encounter on April 1, 2023. In that match, Myers had twelve kills and eleven digs while DiCosola recorded thirty-four assists.

Augustana enters this contest with an overall record of thirteen wins and two losses but suffered defeat in their only CCIW match so far against North Central College.
