FOIA Request to City of Le Roy City Council Regarding Detailed Information about Council Members on October 15, 2024.
The McLean County Times, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, has sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the City of Le Roy City Council. The request was made under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140.
We are seeking access to public records detailing the list of all council members. The requested information includes each member's name, title, year appointed, term length (2 or 4 years), and term expiration date. This information is preferably requested in an electronic format for ease of access and analysis.
