As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at McLean County Times have sent a request under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, to the Chenoa City Council.
The request specifically seeks a list of all council members with certain details. The requested fields include each member's name, title, year appointed, term length (2 or 4 years), and term expiration date. This information is crucial for us to accurately report on the composition and dynamics of the city council.
