The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team is set to face Concordia University Chicago in a non-conference match on Monday, September 30. The match will take place at the Evergreen Racquet Club in Bloomington, Illinois, starting at 4 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan, with a current record of 4-2, comes into this matchup following their participation in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional held in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Sophomores Amber Ehrlich and Olivia Bell represented IWU at the tournament, marking the first time Titans players have competed there since 2016.

In their most recent dual match, the Titans achieved a decisive 7-0 victory over Elmhurst University. This win extended their winning streak to three matches and improved their historical record against Elmhurst to 27-8. Notable performances included freshman Katie Van Heuklon's first collegiate win at No. 3 singles and victories by sophomore Carly Edwards and freshman Angela Zatloka in singles matches. Additionally, IWU won all doubles competitions to secure the point.

The upcoming match marks the second encounter between Illinois Wesleyan and Concordia Chicago within two years. Their previous meeting on September 8, 2023, ended with a 7-2 victory for IWU. Concordia Chicago currently holds a record of 2-5 and is seeking its first non-conference win of the season after a recent loss to St. Mary's College on September 22.

Match results will be available on iwusports.com after completion.
