The representative expressed enthusiasm about joining the Counties and Townships committee, citing past experience as a county board member as beneficial for addressing legislation impacting local governments. They also look forward to participating in the Energy and Environment committee due to significant local discussions surrounding wind and solar projects.
Additionally, they will serve on two appropriations committees focused on state budget matters. One committee will address Health and Human Services, while the other will concentrate on Public Safety and Infrastructure.
The representative will return to two committees this year: Labor and Commerce, and Public Utilities.
