McLean County Merit Commission met Feb. 11.

Draft of the January 14th meeting minutes to be approved.
From Sheriff Lane/Chief Welsch/Chief Kretlow:
The new Merit Commission Member is awaiting approval by the county board.
Old Business:
• December 30th, we conducted 3 Correctional Officer interviews. They were all approved.
• We had one no show.
• January 14th, the commission elected the new chairperson, Commissioner John Whalen. All other positions remained the same.
New Business:
• Nothing to report:
From McLean County Auditor through the Sheriff Department:
• The Budget Performance Report & Accumulated Transaction Listings were reported as of the end of January 2025. These were reviewed.

The next regular board meeting will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the Sheriff’s Training.
