Odell Community Consolidated School District 435 Board met Jan. 15.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Board President Emily Gall called the meeting to order at 6 p.m.

PRESENT: Emily Gall, Dan Voss, Randy Pagel, and April Slagel.

ABSENT: Dana Capko, Heidi Legner, and Kim Verdun

Also in attendance: Mark Hettmansberger, Superintendent; Sue Francis, Secretary

Motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Dan Voss, second by Randy Pagel as presented. Action: Passed.

APPROVAL OF DECEMBER BILLS AND PAYROLL

Motion to approve the December bills and payroll was made by April Slagel, and second by Dan Voss. Roll call, yeas-Emily Gall, Dan Voss, Randy Pagel, and April Slagel. Action: Passed.

APPROVAL OF THE 2025-2026 PUBLIC SCHOOL CALENDAR

Motion to approve the 2025-2026 Public School Calendar was made by Randy Pagel and second by April Slagel. Upon Voice Vote, the motion carried.

APPROVAL OF THE COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENT FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Motion to approve the compensation adjustment for the administrative assistant was made by Dan Voss and second by Randy Pagel. Roll call, yeas—Emily Gall, Dan Voss, Randy Pagel, and April Slagel Action: Passed.

ANNOUNCEMENT AND DISCUSSION

1) There was a brief discussion on the solar panels that are going to be installed at the school.
