Anyone interested in speaking publicly at a City Council or Committee of the Whole Meeting is welcome. The council appreciates all questions and comments but will not respond to comments at this time. While the Illinois Open Meetings Act mandates that the City Council may NOT take action on comments received on matters that have not been identified on this agenda, council may direct staff to address the topic for action or discussion on the agenda for another meeting

Andrew Larson will provide an overview and answer any questions in regards to a proposed “Community Tree Ordinance”.

Approval of the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) Hotel/Motel application funding request totaling $7,500.00 towards the “Thunder on the Prairie Motorcycle Rally” in Kiwanis Park July 10-13, 2025.

To review closed session minutes, including semi-annual review of closed session minutes.

EXECUTIVE SESSION 5ILCS 120/2 (c)(1)

Enter Executive Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1) to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body. Specifically, to discuss the terms within a four year Agreement between the City of Le Roy and Dave Jenkins as City Administrator.

RETURN TO OPEN SESSION

• Motion

Approval for executive minutes to remain closed and recordings dated 18 months beyond date recorded to be deleted.

• Motion

Approve the renewal of a four-year Contract extension for Dave Jenkins as the City Administrator effective February 22, 2025, through April 30, 2029.
