The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team, ranked 19th, participated in the Westbrook Invitational hosted by George Fox University on March 8, 2025. The tournament took place at the Westbrook Village Golf Course in Peoria, Arizona. After the first day of competition, the Titans are tied for sixth place among ten teams.
Illinois Wesleyan completed the day with a score of 310, which is 26 strokes over par. George Fox University leads the tournament with a score of one-over 285. Emory University holds second place with a six-over 290, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is third at seven-over 291.
Senior Macy Ludwig from Effingham, Illinois led her team by shooting a two-over 73 and is tied for eighth individually. Sophomore Emily Gastrau from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin finished with a six-over 77 and is tied for 28th.
The Titans will resume play on Sunday, March 9, starting at 8:22 a.m.
