Illinois Wesleyan University will host a softball tournament at Inspiration Field, Carol Willis Park, on March 29-30. The event will feature Illinois Wesleyan's team, along with DePauw University, Lake Forest College, and Wartburg College. The Titans, currently holding a 7-5 season record, open the tournament against Wartburg on March 29 at 10 a.m., followed by a game against DePauw at 4:45 p.m.

DePauw enters the tournament with an 8-6 record after defeating Calvin on March 22. Lake Forest, also at 7-5, last played on March 22, splitting a doubleheader against Carthage. Wartburg, standing at 8-8, arrives following a sweep over UW-La Crosse on March 27.

Illinois Wesleyan's offense is led by Jen Kuhn, who hits .579 and leads the team in several categories. Other top performers include Casey Wissmiller (.342), Hailey Milgazo (.324), and Ava Khoury (.324). The team's pitching staff sees Gianna Certa leading with 26.1 innings pitched and a 4-1 record, while Mallory Holland has the lowest ERA at 0.91.

The Titans hold positive historical records against each tournament team: 21-15 against DePauw, 13-2 against Lake Forest, and 4-1 against Wartburg. Last year's victories at the IWU Invite and other encounters have been favorable for Illinois Wesleyan.
