The Board of Education of the Woodland CUSD#5 held a Special Board Meeting on May 5, 2025 at 6:00 pm. The meeting was called to order by Eric Sass. Answering roll call were: Eric Sass, Jeremy Adams, Chad Gilkerson, Rebecca Sterling, Alison Wissen, Dan Reinmann
Also, present were: Dr. Ryan McGuckin, Superintendent and Erik Heidenreich
Public Comment
None
3. No Guests were recognized
4. Did NOT amend the agenda
5. It was moved by Eric Sass and seconded by Jeremy Adams to approve the Proclamation of Election Results from Livingston and LaSalle Counties
Roll call: all yeas 6 yeas and 0 nays. The motion carried.
6. Seat New and Reelected Board of Education Members
Chad Gilkerson moved to seat Eric Sass, Rebecca Sterling, Dan Reinmann, and Erik Heidenreich as Board of Education Members for Woodland CUSD #5
Jeremy Adams seconded it
Roll call: all yeas 6 yeas and 0 nays. The motion carried.

Eric Sass moved that the Board of Education appoint Ryan McGuckin as President Pro tem for tonight’s special Board of Education meeting. Jeremy Adams seconded it

9. Appoint Secretary Pro-Tem for Reorganization
Eric Sass moved that the Board of Education appoint Ryan McGuckin as Secretary Pro tem for tonight’s special Board of Education meeting. Rebecca Sterling seconded it

10. Call to order by President Pro-Tem
Ryan McGuckin called to order the seating of the new school board members

President pro tem: Jeremy Adams being the only candidate nominated for the office of president, the chair hereby declares them elected by acclamation

13. Approval of Board of Education Committees for May 2025 to May 2027
Jeremy Adams moved that the Board of Education approve the list of Board of Education Committees for May 2025-May 2027 as presented. Dan Reinmann seconded it

14. Approve Board of Education Meetings, Times, and Locations for the 2025-26 Fiscal Year
Jeremy Adams moved that the Board of Education approve the Board of Education Meetings, Times, and Locations for the 2025-26 Fiscal Year as presented. Jeremy Adams seconded it.

Jeremy Adams moved that the Board of Education adopt the Board of Education Policies of the former board. Eric Sass seconded it
