Illinois Wesleyan University's men's soccer team has been named a College Team Academic Award winner by United Soccer Coaches for the 2024-25 academic year. The award is given to programs that achieve a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

The Titans posted a 3.56 GPA, which was the highest among the four College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin men's soccer programs recognized this year. Other schools in the conference earning the honor include North Central, North Park, and Wheaton.

The team's upcoming season will begin on August 29 at the JR Hoe Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky.

"United Soccer Coaches announced Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer as a College Team Academic Award winner, recognizing exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year. To earn the award, a program must have a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher."
