The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team has received Presidents Special Recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for its academic performance during the 2024-25 season. The GCAA announced its Platform Golf Team Academic Awards on August 5, naming Illinois Wesleyan as one of only 24 Division III programs to achieve an average team GPA of 3.5 or higher.

In addition to their runner-up finish at the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship, the Titans were among just 129 programs across all divisions to receive this recognition. Illinois Wesleyan was also the only program from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin to be honored in this way.

The Titans are set to begin their next regular season on September 8-9 at the Carthage Invitational in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
