Illinois Wesleyan University seniors Sam Kedzior and Adriana Crabtree have been named nominees for the Allstate NACDA Good Works Fall Team. The announcement was made Tuesday, August 5. Kedzior is a goalkeeper and captain for the men's soccer team, while Crabtree competes in cross country and track & field. They are among 128 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, and III to receive this recognition.

"These student-athletes represent the kind of leadership that strengthens communities across the country and prove that purpose and impact go hand in hand with athletic excellence," said Elizabeth Brady, Allstate's chief marketing, customer and communications officer.

The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team (Fall) honors male and female student-athletes who show commitment to community service, academic achievement, and athletic performance. Since the program expanded to include all sports last year, Illinois Wesleyan has had five student-athletes recognized—more than any other school in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.

Kedzior has been active with Illinois Wesleyan's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), organizing raffles for St. Jude's and Special Olympics. He has participated in Polar Plunge events supporting Special Olympics and volunteered at SOAR nights. His community work includes volunteering at Western Avenue Community Center, Sugar Creek Special Care Center, Holy Trinity, tutoring students, collecting food donations for local pantries, and cleaning up Constitution Trail.

Crabtree is a two-time NCAA qualifier in cross country who also supports IWU's SAAC initiatives. She has collected food donations through Trick or Treat for Canned Goods drives and participated in Million Meal Pack events. Her volunteer efforts extend to Special Olympics, St. Jude's, Kiwanis Club activities such as pancake breakfasts and flower sales, as well as assisting with luggage delivery at Camp Limberlost.

A selection committee will choose a final team of 20 student-athletes—10 men and 10 women—to be announced August 26. One will be named team captain. The full list of nominees can be found on the official NACDA website.

The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team was established in 2024 to recognize collegiate athletes' leadership in service, academics, and athletics across all divisions. It builds on the legacy of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team for football players dating back to 1992.

NACDA represents more than 23,000 college athletics administrators from over 2,300 institutions throughout North America. The association manages multiple professional groups and hosts major development events each year.
