After beginning the 2025 season with three consecutive wins, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team has climbed to No. 16 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Poll as of Tuesday, September 2.

The Titans started the year ranked 19th in the AVCA preseason poll. Their season opener was a five-set win over Earlham College on August 29. The following day, Illinois Wesleyan defeated Greenville University and then-No. 20 University of Chicago in straight sets.

The leading nine teams in the poll remain unchanged from last week, with Juniata at No. 1, followed by UW-Whitewater at No. 2, Hope at No. 3, Johns Hopkins at No. 4, and Emory completing the top five. Within their conference—the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin—Illinois Wesleyan is joined by Millikin University, which holds the No. 17 spot.

Looking ahead, Illinois Wesleyan will travel to Georgetown, Texas for Southwestern University's SU Invitational on September 5-6. The team is scheduled to play Texas Lutheran University on Friday afternoon before matches against University of Puget Sound and Southwestern on Saturday.
