The Illinois State men's tennis team has announced its 2025 fall schedule, marking the first season under new head coach Maja Kovacek. The schedule includes three tournaments, with one event taking place on campus in Normal.

The Redbirds will start their fall competition at the River Forest Collegiate Tennis Invitational from September 12-13. This tournament is hosted by Northern Illinois at the River Forest Tennis Club, with additional matches held at the Oak Park Tennis Center. The event is played on clay courts.

Following this, Illinois State will host the Redbird Invitational from October 3-5 at the Gregory Street Tennis Courts. In case of bad weather, matches may be moved to the Evergreen Racquet Club. The team's fall season concludes in Chicago at the ITA Regionals from October 16-19.

Last season, Illinois State was seeded fourth in the Summit League Championships and lost to Denver in the semifinals. Returning players include Tomas Valencia, a First Team All-Summit League selection, and Adrian Dibildox, who received Honorable Mention honors. The Redbirds are set to begin their spring dual-meet season in January and will compete in Summit League play leading up to the 2026 Summit League Tennis Championships scheduled for April 23-25 in Tulsa.
