Illinois Wesleyan women's golf to host 17-team IWU Fall Classic this weekend

The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team, currently ranked 15th nationally, will host the IWU Fall Classic this weekend at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Illinois. The event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 13-14, with play beginning each day at 9 a.m. via shotgun start.

Seventeen teams are set to compete in the tournament. In addition to Illinois Wesleyan, participants include No. 23 Rhodes College, North Central, Saint Mary's, Augustana, Wartburg, Trine, Millikin, Dubuque, Olivet, Albion, UW-Whitewater, Aurora, Central College, Carthage, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, UW-Oshkosh and DePauw.

Illinois Wesleyan's 'A' team will consist of senior Brooke Erhard (Champaign), juniors Nora Cerroni (Waukesha) and Emily Gastrau (Wauwatosa), sophomores Grace Fagan (Kirkwood) and Gigi Zera (Glenview), along with freshman Julia Henry (Homewood). The 'B' lineup includes junior Sarah Sim (Hoffman Estates), sophomores Caroline Carr (Frankfort) and Breanna Brown (South Barrington), as well as freshmen Ashley Wells (Champaign) and Addison Krouse (Effingham).

The tournament will use a six-count-four format. Live scoring for the event will be available through Clippd.
